Norfolk is a county famous for it\u2019s coastal erosion problems and the area around Cromer is certainly no exception. This pillbox is located approximately half a mile north of the Pier and undoubtedly \u2018slumped\u2019 down onto the beach below as the very soft \u2018glacial till\u2019 material of the cliffs was washed away. It is so deeply buried into the beach that it is impossible to identify its type. Unfortunately, it was also impossible to get a photo from above as the cliffs are in such a precarious state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
