Early in 2017 we received an Email from Jon Mills. He had been interested in Pillboxes and WWII defences from the early 1970’s but was now no longer interested and looking to find a home for his photographs and notes. Did we want them he asked – we certainly did and, after a short delay, the parcel arrived at the beginning of August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening the package revealed a treasure trove of notes, cuttings and photographs from the mid 1970’s – even some correspondence form Henry Wills, author of the seminal work in the genre “Pillboxes”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new section will show as much of the collection as is possible to transfer to computer and where possible will provide the current EDOB database ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
