A cable railway was laid to facilitate supply of the battery along with a jetty at the camp adjacent to the battery. Fragments of rail remain in-situ and some winding gear too. Some trucks are dumped on the shore below the battery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were two <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pillbox-study-group.org.uk\/gazetteersubsite\/field-gun-emplacement-e60628-extant\/\" title=\"\">12pdr guns mounted &#8220;nearby<\/a>&#8221; on temporary mountings of which one
