The 6pdr Hotchkiss MKV gun was housed in a brick and concrete extension on the East end of the old Coast Guard Rocket House. The emplacement remains with the embrasure bricked up. The Rocket house has a large square window (just out of shot in the second picture) which most likely housed a Lyon Light to illuminate targets for the gun. It is likely that this gun was manned by the Home Guard.
