Former Reyrolle Works Hebburn, Tyne & Wear. NZ 30468 63767 This is the only surviving example at the former Reyrolle works. There were originally at least three of these. Two others can be seen in EAW033926 on Britain from above

These are located on the South side of the river next to Newcastle University Boat Club Boathouse. Most likely used to store demolition charges for thebridge as part of the Tyne Demolition line.
Located in Holywell and clad in local stone. Normally completely overgrown, this pillbox was briefly visible back in 2010.
Not great photos, captured with very old phone. By the time I went back with a proper camera, about a week later, the building had been demolished.

Type 22 now preserved in the new housing estate. The grilles on the loopholes look rather out of place but at least it’s still there. This pillbox will shortly be in the middle of a large new housing estate.
