Located in Holywell and clad in local stone. Normally completely overgrown, this pillbox was briefly visible back in 2010.

A type 22 pillbox with a (blocked) sunken entrance located at Lyness on Hoy, Orkney. There is evidence that at least one of the loopholes has been modified using stone and concrete.
This Type 22 is slightly taller than usual and has a raised floor. There are holes either side of the, blocked up, doorway that indicate there may have been steps with railings fitted originally.
