- The shelter was moved by contractors of the nearby road improvement scheme. It has been erected by members of the Carew Cheriton Control Group on their museum site by the restored control tower.

Some photographs of remaining Stanton shelters that can still be found in the fields surrounding the old airfield. During the war years this agricultural land was used for airmen’s and WAAF’s billets.
